    Your quilt couldn't have turned
    out any nicer!! :D It's a matter
    of personal preference, as to
weather you want to do more!!
Maybe try it out on a practice piece.
    :D :D :D :D :D :D

Wow, that's a beautiful quilt. Makes me want to go to the pool! :) I'm going to be waffly here and say that I think it would look good either way, with or without the extra stitching. You're doing a great job on it, be sure to show us the finished quilt!

I really like how your quilt turned out, and your SID looks great. Go for the wavey lines - it's YOUR quilt!

The SID foot is the one with a straight thin metal piece hanging down perpendicular to the foot right in front of where the needle will sew - you can see it, and use it to guide the foot along the seam.

It's also called the edge-stitching foot. If your machine allows you to move the needle, you can move the needle to the right or left and stitch the edges of - whatever you want to stitch the edges of! Quilt, cuffs, collar.

Oh, please do post your feet. I would love to know what some of mine are used for (smiles). I feel silly for not knowing.
