    Beautiful work.. My youngest brother lived in Grand Juntion for a number of years. I hope you get lots of use from this quilt

    I like your design choice of separating the hex SNW blocks and getting the striped effect. Sometimes, the hex blocks can be kind of overwhelming when they are butted up to each other. Your colors are nice and subtle, and the blue background really frames the designed blocks well.
