    I have the book and have never made one yet. What did you do differently from the directions? Those look great.

    I didn't pay attention to the strips being 21 inches. Instead, I had the material folded selvage to selvage. I ended up cutting through 16 layers instead of 8.

    Luckily, it all worked out.
