I am so happy and a bit premature to post this unfinished quilt, but I had to share my first stack and whack. I used the Deb Tucker's ruler and couldn't have been more happy with the results. You become so addicted to this technique that you can't stop making them because you don't see what each block looks like until you stitch the last stitch. It's so hard to believe that that piece of fabric made 36 different blocks and no 2 are alike. I still have to add the black border as a frame and another final border. The fabric is hard to see in the photo. The orange is a Northcott fabric with tiny gold dots. The final border is the same pattern but a darker rusty brown. It will end up 110" x 122". My thoughts are still running a muck because I have to decide what I will quilt in the snowball blocks. I would love to quilt a circular feather, but I am not experienced yet with my longarm. I pray it comes out to my liking. I've made many quilts, but this is the first one for MY bed. Dh likes it a lot.
