My first stained glass

Your quilt is beautiful. It has been calling to me for two days. So I ordered the pattern knowing full well that I can't start it for at least 18 months. I may have to settle for hanging the pattern on my wall. Where did you find such wonderful fabrics? You should be very proud of yourself. Pat
P.S. I hope none of you are on the fabric moritorium thread!

I got most of the fabrics from a quilt shop somewhere in the Raleigh, NC area while we were visiting in November. I added some of the greens and tans that were left from the project when I made my avatar. I really shopped long and hard to find fabrics that I thought would work. I had a "set" all picked out when I scrapped it all for the blue and purple. Glad I kept looking. I'll have to take a picture of the backing too. It's a piece of batik that is tan and has purple dragonflies on it. PERFECT! It was just sitting there, calling to me. hummmm
