Great work! And great fabric selection. All the different black and white patterns give it a lot of interest, along with the yellow.

Love your beautiful quilt. Your niece is a lucky lady. Thank you so much for the instructions and the review on the pellon. I have been wanting to make a string quilt but hesitated about the foundation I should use now I think I will try and find the pellon you used. You are very helpful---you also helped me about good quilt shops in Tulsa when I visited my son and his family in Tulsa and I went to one you suggested and left lots of money there and enjoyed the shop tons!

Jordan, thanks for your note. The Pellon was great to work with (both piecing and quilting) but it does add some weight and a little stiffness to the quilt, so it will be a warm one. It does soften up with a couple of washings, and I like the drape it gives the quilt.

Your quilt is so pretty. I really must move that design up my bucket list. Great job!

Great quilt. You picked just the right shade of yellow to blend with it.

I love how you set it on point Jeannie. Lovely quilt, it should be a real hit with her.
