I know you can't see it in the px, but I FMQ all the squares outside of the picture on each shirt, plus the sashing and the border and then I FMQ with a wavy line on the binding since I was afraid it might pop apart and I live in MI and she will be in Tucson so I wanted to stabilize it.

I just want to mention that I am regretful it took me so long to start quilting. What made me plunge into this is that my 15 yo grandson was killed in a car accident and when I found out his mother (my daughter) sent all his tee-shirts out to be made into a tee-shirt quilt for $400, I was dismayed that I could not have done that for her. I would have put my heart and soul into doing his tee-shirts as a tribute to his brief life. Well, now I am all set to do so for my remaining 16 grandkids. Thanks for listening. Pauline

I like the quilt. One of my co-workers want me to help her make one for daughter that's in college. Was it hard to do? How do you keep the tee shirt from stretching out of shape? PM me.
