I finally finished this for my granddaughter. I originally made a baby quilt. I had material that represented her sisters on one side and things on the back to represent the rest of her family. I had put the red ruffle on it , but I did not know how to finish it. This year, she wanted it and so I added the border. I used polyseter batting, so I tied it every 2-3 ". Boy, I thought I would never get it done. Her birthday was Jan. 2. I finished it at 8:20 pm. on Jan. 1, 2011. Yeah! It is finally done.

So cute...love the look of the rick-rack around the front blocks.
I am so glad you finished it. Your grandaughter will really love it.
