    I have seen others pick out a backing fabric that they really loved and quilt from the back outlining the key elements in the fabric.

    This was my first time doing this and it isn't without its flaws...but I loved the opportunity and challenge.

    I love the fabric, pattern and colors!

    I quilted this freehand on my INNOVA. I used hobbs polydown batting.

    I would like to try this some day. I think it produced beautiful results. My issue is the logistics. Like, did you have to sew a strip of fabric to the top so you could attach it to the leaders as though it were the backing? Must have been fun advancing it to see how it was coming along.
