    I hand stitch the back of the binding with a blind stitch. It takes quite a while, but it looks pretty good when I'm finished. By the way, the quilt is BEAUTIFUL! I haven't gotten up the nerve to tackle applique yet. Maybe someday.

    That is one really, really cute quilt...the applique AND binding looks good :). I'm sure it will be treasured.

    You quilt is really quite beautiful and any child or fellow quilter LOL would be lucky to have it!!!
    I hand stitch my binding on the back of my quilts. It goes pretty quick. I usually bind my quilt while watching (actually listening to) the television in the evening. As someone else said in a previous reply, this, too is the only part of my quilts that are hand stitched. Keep trying, it does get easier.
