I want to see if you have a short cut on the log cabin also. My way is no short cut, but I still like to do it. I will do one like yours or close to it, thanks again for the pictures.

Hi Deb - Yes, that is definitely one of - if not THE favorite - quilt I have looked at. I purchased the floral fabric that you used and have to get the lights yet - kind of stuck on that.

Are you still planning on posting the way you cut/pieced the fabrics, etc. I'm sure I'm not the only one anxiously waiting for any help you can give - especially for us new quilters

    Thanks! Pat
I posted the tutorial on Sunday.

It is beautiful. The Mad City Quilters exchanged fabrics that were florals with black backgrounds and then had whites on the other side. They used a log cabin "want to be". Your quilt looks wonderful on the photo but having seen this combination before, I know that it is absolutely gorgeous in person.

    Very pretty.

I just do not have florals in my stash. At least not enough to do much with.

I've been thinking an uneven log cabin would be a good choice for our next quilt raffle at church. I'll have to buy almost all the florals, unless the ladies at church can come up with some pieces.
