    You did so well. It took me 8 yrs. to collect enough vegetable fabric back in the 90's to make my dad's garden quilt. They just didn't do food fabrics much back then. Will be fun to see what you come up with.

    Very nice mouse, they have come a long way with food on fabric. Have fun at the quilt show. Take more pic's and share. Hope to get there on Sun

    I have been collecting food fabrics....things my Grandmother used to cann and put in jars...she always had a jar of buttons and some candy and my coins in a jar in her pantry. I have the buttons, candy and coins now also. I am making a jar quilt with all the things my Grandmother canned and put in her pantry.....this was before the time of a/c and
    she also had a big problem every year with big black ants...I also have
    some red/white check with ants on them.....this will be a quilt that honors my Grandmother's memory...she was awesome. She also taught me to
    crochet and knit.....neither of which I am very good at....but she tried.LOL

    I haven ever heard of a quilt, with jars! Do you have a pattern?
