    Cool looking quilt, I couldn't sleep under it, I would spend all my time looking at the wonderful appliques and piecing!! Looks great on the bed.

    What a beautiful quilt. I think sometimes that God gave us handwork so we could focus on the process and allow us to heal from the blows life deals us.

    Caring for and losing both your husband and mother is quite a load to bear. You are a strong and caring woman to be much admired. Your quilt is wonderful; whimsical, colorful and fun. I think you got just the right amount of "sea stuff" to make it interesting and authentic. Except, of course, for the mermaids that I choose to believe frolic under the sea in spite of scientific evidence to the contrary. Stay strong.
