Wow, loved your post! First you sucked me in with the topic title. Then the way you talked about your strips and how you decided to make them. Then the explanation of the title which piqued my interest from the get-go.

You are amazing with how much you get done! and your the best with all the scrappies, thank you so much for sharing them. I love scrappy and I get so inspired by you and this is a pattern I definitely want to make to use up all (ha some) of the 2.5" strips I've been cutting up from my scraps. Thanks again!

Very nice quilts. Do you ever sleep Judy??? You are so energetic in your sewing and I sure do applaud you for making so many quilts to be donated. FYI--I think a picture of Jeanne S. quilt is on the tutorial forum. I have been wanting to make one with her pattern for some time and hopefully I can get one done soon. Looks like an easy pattern.
