I found a paper pieced pattern of little hula girls and boys and I am going to border it with some Hawaiian fabric I got from a friend. It does not take a lot so I can maybe make more than one.

Anka's Treasures has 2 pattern books using large prints that would be perfect for these treasures.

I researched fabric shops when my daughter went there. Found ready made hawaiian quilted shams. I knew I would never do one so she got me one. It was easier the getting fabric. The shop was fantastic.

I brought home some Hawaiian fabrics and had a great time makeing the quilt for a friend of mine who nursed me when I had knee replacement. I had to make my own design to make all the beautiful flowers show..
