Wonderful. Did you make your own pattern for the frogs and turtle? they are so cute.

I kind of made the pattern for the scrappy turtles. I googled pictures for the basic outline and then made templates from the picture. The big frog and dragon fly were also googled and then enlarged with my computer. The polywogs on the blue saching ( they really don't show up very good ) were copied from a photograph of polywogs that were also googled. What would we do without google? I guess my quilt is googlely. The rest of the quilt was done with preprinted material for the cross stitch blocks and the commercial frog pond pattern but I did resize. The pattern is a Starbear & Friends pattern called Over the Pond. The water lilies were in EQ6

    Hi Barb,

Your Frog Pond quilt is the bomb! I'm sure it was a work of love. You do wonderful work. I really enjoyed our lunch the other day. Let's do it again. Perhaps I won't have quite so much on my mind next time.

I had a lot of fun lunching with you too. DH is going to have surgery on his eye on the 25th at UC Davis and I am kind of on a hold pattern until we get the results. The Cancer center wants to see him after they get the rresults of biophsy but are sure the Lymphoma is starting to get active again and will either do a drip or radiation in the near future. Always something. As soon as I know let's make plans to have lunch again. Hope all is well with your family.

You are very welcome. I must admit I do enjoy making our bed in the morning and putting my Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls and some of the soft sculpture frogs on the pillows and then watch Binks jump up and do her thing wtih the turtles and curl up in the middle on top of the big frog.
