I bought a 403 Special slant-o-matic in 1960. I love it.
Recently I bought a Janome 3160 QDC. I find myself using my Singer more often then my new one. Guess it is just because I am used to it.

That looks exactly like my Mom's old Singer --- cabinet and all --- that I leaned to sew on when I was about 12. She still has it and the onlything she has had to have replaced is the cord.

A fabulous buy, how come I never see anything like this when I visit garage sales, thrift shops, etc. I never see any of the great buys on materials either. Maybe I should go more often.
