I agree!! It's simply GHASTLY. Send it to me...I know just what to do with it (quilt it and throw it on my couch)!

    I think it's pretty cool!

It is a very pretty quilt, colorful and cheery. Think of it as your learning quilt because the day will come when you will cherish it. It is a keeper. Every quilter has one or a few. I know I do.

Looks like you've put a lot of work into it. Don't stress over it. Just be proud of yourself and finish it. I think it looks very nice.

Your idea of ghastly is my idea of pretty cool. I truly like what you have done. I like the colors and the pattern. I would love to see it finished. i'm working on a quilt almost just like that but it has a 16 patch in the center instead of the 1/2 square triangles set on point. Mine is in blue. I hope you change your mind about the quilt and make it something to be treasured, if not by u by someone who will love it to pieces.l

Quilt it up with warm and natural, wash it, and 95% of people looking at it will never notice a thing wrong. The 5% who will notice will probably say "Gee, I've done that myself!" LOL! I find quilts I make that don't match perfectly look much better after quilting.

I like it and I'm not a bit fond of gray in a quilt.

Your quiltmanship is beautiful in this piece, and I bet you learned a lot while doing it, and these lessons are invaluable. Call this quilt an UBE - the Ugliest Blanket Ever, and it will become quite endearing to you regardless. For a first timer, your points are excellent!

I don't see anything wrong with it. As for you wanting a flying geese ruler, don't buy it! Do the 'No Waste Flying Geese Method' I hated flying geese until I began using this method.

Really like the quilt. I'd be happy to have done such a good job. Finish it and you will find you really don't want to part with it
