You did wonderful! Everything on freecycle in our area gets snatched so quickly, that I quick checking it. It is so much fun when we get a bargain and free is even better. I am on a high for days!

Things get snatched up quick here too, which is why I was so shocked I actually got it! lol!!!
One advantage of my being on unemployment, I am usually able to respond to the ads quickly and able to go pick it up.

We've gotten rid of a lot of stuff through it too, Bev. Cuts down on a bit of my clutter....

    One person's trash is another's treasure! :D

    wow!

freecycle and i have only one thing in common - i give things away!

nobody ever wants to give away anything i want. it's like it's all junkie broken kid's toys or kid's furniture. stuff that you would normally throw in a charity bin, only not good enough for that. i once asked for silk ties and with all the retired gentlemen around here i still only got four. and one was poly. it wasn't worth the gas. i don't bother to read it anymore.

i have a man's bicycle to give away now, and i won't list it 'cause i think dealers take them to resell. i plan to give it directly to a charity that the police work with.

so good for you! you done us proud! how many pounds, anyway? how exciting for you. your dh must be real happy too.

We take our things to goodwill or a local charity, I don't bother with trying to sell anything. If I don't need it, then it is time to recycle and hopefully what goes around, comes around and all that.
