I used a cotton batting cut at 7 in. it was a real fun quilt to make!

Thank you all, it was really an easy fast quilt to make. I want to experiment more with the pattern now, maybe use more layers of different colors. Maybe make some of the shaggy on the other side. My husband wants a football stadium quilt made with this pattern. So off to the fabric shop I go. :-)
