    It's beautiful!

I don't think it is OCD, but how do you know what kinds of things they will like (or their future spouse) when they get married?

I'm making two quilts for two kids getting married this year. My daughter's--she told me carefully what she liked and even sent a link, plus we were together last year in a quilt shop where she saw her first inspiration. My son's, well, the future DIL sent a picture of what she liked, and I'm sending her pics back so she can choose color combos, etc.

I see that this thread is old, so I may not get an answer, but this would be my overriding question.

Great job! That's not OCD, that's planning ahead. We know we want our GK's quilts to be extra good work and we won't be able to do that forever. I started DGD's quilt when she was 3. She got it at age 11, and at that, I had to get a friend to quilt it because I can't do large ones on my home machine any more.

Love this idea!!!! If you have them wrapped and name or which quilt is from who - extra special and also the executor will know what to do with them.
