    No I don't think that's OCD. My grand daughter is only 7 years old, and I have a baby quilt put away for her first child. LOL

    Not OCD, but thoughtful. How surprised they will be when their special day comes and find that you made a quilt for them, planned for them and thought of them years before the event.

    Your OCD has common sence. Making them ahead of time is smart and gives you time to make it without pressure.

    I have been thinking of that idea myself, only my ten year old grandson has been asking me for a few years now if I would please make him a baby quilt for when he has a child. A friend of mine made all her granddaughters quilts from left over fabric that she used for their dresses when they were little.
