    Thanks everyone! I'm so glad to get them, especially since nobody else in my family has one speck of interest in quilting or crocheting, much less any idea of the time and effort that went into making them. They would've been the type to use them for furniture padding, unfortunately. Grrr!

    I'll treasure these quilts forever. 8-)

    Oh boy !! what a treasure. My granny who lived in Missouri during the twenties and thirties left me a "scrap book" of her quilting patterns, mostly cut from the Kansas City Star newspaper. A couple of your grandma's quilts look amazingly like some of the patterns my granny left for me.

    I love the way she outlined the butterflys on the sides and bottoms! Very nice.

    moonrise they are good i like looking at old quilt you wonder how they ever had time to do it back then they only had so much light to do it
