my halloween quilt gift

My birthday was a few days ago. my dear friend made this darling halloween quilt for me. it is based on a pattern called button town, not sure of the pattern author.
my friend loved this pattern the first time she saw it. i and my other quilting buddy did not see the potential. i think she has gone beyond the basics with this.

That is simply gorgeous!! :D I just Love it & I too think she went above & beyond the patterns potential!! Thank you for sharing with all of us, here ion the quilting board. ENJOY!!

thanks for your comments. i will pass them along. my friend has also made this pattern with houses and shops (including a quilt shop, of course) and a flowered center. then she made one with a beach theme. both really nice but i love the halloween theme.
