    I hand quilt and love the look when done. I also find it relaxing. I offer up all the stitches to God and he uses the prayers where He wants.

    I love hand quilting it is almost like meditation! Your quilt is beautiful...great first time work!!

    Wonderful start to hand quilting. I agree, I have found that is the part of quilt making I love the best. Nothing beats curling up in my favorite chair with a quilt draped all around me while I stitch.

    Thw panel is called "76 Trombones" by Sandy Gervais for MODA Fabrics. I just did a quick Internet search and it looks like there are still panels available for sale.
