Very pretty! I'm sorry, too. I'm glad the quilt helped!

It is beautiful, and good therapy for you. I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my Dad on Jan 9, 2011. I had made him a birthday quilt for his last birthday that helped me remember the good times with him. God bless you.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Hopefully getting back into your quilting will keep your mind and hands busy, and each day will be a little easier on you. I lost my best friend of 42 years last August, and it's still hard to look at her picture and think about her for very long without crying. I hope you have a quilt group and/or guild meetings to go to. Friends can make such a difference in your life. I love the quilt you made. I've never seen that pattern. How big are the blocks? Good luck to you, you have a long road to go... take care!

    Jeananne,
When I saw your quilt the first think that popped out to me were the apples. I immediately remembered that God refers to us as the apple of His eye. So, as you learn to live each day anew remember how special you are to Him. He is with you and He understands your pain. My prayers are with you.

Wrap yourself in the comfort of this quilt by your hand in memory of him. It is a wonderful tribute and I hope that it provides you some comfort during this difficult time. It is certainly very special and is meant to heal. My prayers and best wishes.

Explosive blessings, abundance and inspiration to you all!

Bless your heart. It would be so hard to work on a quilt that he had liked. At least, this soon. You're in my prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss. Your quilt is beautiful and I know it will give you many hours of comfort. Hopefully, in time, the sad part of losing him will diminish somewhat and be replaced with your warm memories of your life together.
