    Default My heart quilt

I saw a pic of this on here, and decided to copy it myself. It was much easier than I thought! Applique has become fairly easy for me (especially after doing the dance of the dragonflies LOL).

I also managed to figure out FMQ thanks to my new machine.

Here's the front of the quilt. It is all done, just needs to be washed. So if you see any "marks" it's just chalk.

A close up of my FMQ.

I did some FMQ of hearts on the front of the quilt. Hard to see because I used the same colour thread. I traced outlines of hearts and then quilted them. It was so easy compared to my last sewing machine!

I had posted this pic in another thread illustrating how I was finally able to do FMQ. Someone asked if I had a template ... yes! The front of the quilt - doing the hearts.

I like that, and hadn't seen it before. Guess I missed it. One of these days I'll get good at applique.

I love the layout with no borders. Glad you chose that. It's a wonderful quilt! Nice job.

Nice quilt and FMQ! Your stitches are so even. (Mine are often wonky)
