    I'm glad it finally arrived.

After seeing your crumb block quilt, I can see you can use all of that stuff!

Cordelia - I love your taste in fabric.....and wanted to stash it all away...but my conscience gets the better of me, and I have divided it all up, keeping just a little bit for myself!! Those purples and the bright pinky/purple are delicious, are those the fabrics from your last quilt? :D

Well it has been no easy task I can tell you, but what I have done is split the larger pieces of quilting fabrics up into fat quarters and tried to colour coordinate them into bundles....but the last few donations I have just cut them up and added a piece randomly in the 22 bags that are lined up in my spare bedroom. All the large pieces it seemed a shame to cut them all up, and will suggest that possibly we can use them for the backing of the charity quilts that I intend to encourage the group to make with some of the fabric, and the dress making fabrics etc. I am just going to take them all in to the class and HOPE that it doesn't turn into a free for all with elbows jarring lol!!!

    Izy,
I'm getting excited just hearing you talk about all the fabric sorting. Can't wait to see what is created with all of it. Have a great day with your group.
