    Each block is different,some are machine applique, and or machine embroidery and using a variety of laces and buttons some of which were my grandmothers. It was a fun project however is too heavy..........I used fusable batting and it is just too heavy.........calla

    The last picture is after I removed the backing and the skirt......still too heavy...........too heavy to sleep under and also too heavy to remove each night............

    Beautiful. Big quilts can just be heavy and there isn't much you can do about it.

    It is just beautiful. Just use it for show I guess. It's too pretty not to be seen.
