Thought I was safe to layout all the pieces for a birthday quilt as my cat, Patch, was in another room fast asleep. When it comes to quilts though she has the ears of a bat lol

There was only a 4" strip of table without fabric on it and she managed to squeeze herself onto it when I turned to grab the cat shapes to lay out.

I keep on old xtra big heating blanket on the table and flip the end up over any unfinished projects so she can roll around to her heart's content without losing any pieces.

p.s. the quilt was a big hit as a surprise present and got me 3 more orders! :) On the downside I didn't take a pic before sending it out :(

She's just trying to be your live model for inspiration! What a pretty cat and nice quilt.

How nice of kitty not to be laying on the blue fabric!

When I had cats, one of them always had to "help" me with my quilting projects!

There was more than enough "cat" room...I don't know what you were thinking...besides she'd have made more room if she needed it - at least mine would have.

Love the fuzzy kitty belly - she looks so soft and luvy.

Oh, how cute is kitty. Take a picture of the completed quilt for us next time. I'd love to see it. :)

Would have loved to see the quilt, maybe you can add a picture of one of your orders? Like the colors, and pretty kitty.

She saw you drawing the kitties and wanted to model for you. What is that you are making?

As your kitty can hear you quilting, my Sam can hear food. If you just think about eating something, he knows it. He can hear you peel a banana.
