    Thank you for all your very kind replies. The little quilt measures 8" x 18" and each side of the hexie measures 1/2"

    I love making little hexies - they are really handy to take to appointments and sewing groups for just easy hand sewing. At the moment I am making little hexie Christmas tree ornaments which are going to our local hospital where they have a craft table. The proceeds will go to the hospitals appeal for a new breast cancer screening machine - which has cost thousands of pounds - a very worthwhile appeal.
