:) Hi, these are the first four quilts I've made...it is quite a progression.
Made this back in high school. Had NO clue about quilting, barely knew how to sew, but wanted a comforter with the world on it...could not find one, so I decided to make it. :)

about 10 years ago now (wow, so long!). this project revealed the importance of planning out the final size...wide enough for a twin, but about 3 feet too long.

second quilt, made 3 years ago, using some of my batics and other fun fabrics. it is reversible, with large black, gray and white with silver pinstripes on the back for hubby

close up of hand print block...the green thread is the outline of dd's hand that she traced herself. she forgot her thumb, and drew it on funny. i was going to fix it, but she was three and I decided that that was what she gave me, so that is what I used. the yellow thread is her actual hand that i traced
