    Love it. By chance did you use various reds and neutrals or all the same fabrics as I've got one on my Bucket List in those colors and I'm trying to decide whether to go with one fabric or controlled scrappy. The couple who its for said she'd love a checkerboard pattern but thought this might work.

    What quilting pattern did you use as its hard to see from this pic. I have robotics so have use of a large selection of patterns.

    I used just the two fabrics in the main quilt and the binding. I did not use the ruler to make it I watched utube videos and figured out how to do it. I also do not remember the name of the red fabric but did go to the fabric shop and she informed me that it is not going to be available
