He will love this I'm sure. I know what you mean about
being in a bad way, my DH. was lay-ed off back in 2009
when he became ill and could no longer do the job and
he's only gotten worse since then and can't work at all
plus I'm on SSI so yes times are bad all over this country.
Hope times get better soon for you :D

Great choice of colors to go with the panels! Good luck to your husband!

I did something similar for my DH for christmas one year. I did a panel and put the pillow panels in the corners. What size are you wanting it to be in the end?

Wow...I love the fabric, especially the panels. My DH is American Native and I always have loved anything to do with his heritage. Be sure to show us pictures when you get this made up. Just get the quilt top done and then you can show him what it is going to be like!! Happy Birthday to your hubby!

Oh he will just love that! Best of luck with the job hunt though..thats a tough one. Hopefully he will find something really soon. I'm sure he won't mind the UFO and IOU in the meantime if thats what you need to do.

Very manly pattern. He will love it. Thanks to be laid off I have discovered my love of quilting. So maybe it is not such a bad thing.
