What a beautiful Red Eye! You know that you can turn it back into a treadle very easily, right? I love mine. I hope your's brings you as much happiness and sews as pretty as mine does.

It looks like the one I have. Bought it for $15 at a flea market in 1968 in San Jose. It is a 1919 Singer...........

When I was a pre-teen/teen, my grandmother, bless her heart, tried her best to teach me how to use the treadle. I just could not do it. She could make it hum and sew as smoothly as any electric machine, but it seemed like I just sat in one place and was "spinning my wheels". Not sure if I want to go through that again. (LOL)

Y'all have said such kind things -- and I am very blessed!

What a treasure! Looks a lot like my inheritence which I thankfully have yet to receive.
