    Very clever indeed. I learned another clevor use for a paint roller handle -- I use it with a high density roller to smooth cake icing. When I go to Lowes in search of something, the workers there are mystyfied when I tell them what I'll be using the item for. I'll be running over there for another paint roller. Thanks.

    PERFECT!
    I use a piece of hanger bent to hang off a shelf, my thread is behind my machine, I can use any size cone, and the cone moves so the thread doesn't tangle. :)

    I've always heard that necessity is the mother of invention. Maybe that should be changed to a quilter is the mother of invention. I personally think you had a great idea and glad that you followed through with it.
