Let me tell you guys I was a mission quilting the queen size Irish on my regular Brother sewing machine. The neck of my machine is very short and narrow so that made my stitches in the middle of my quilt not as straight as they should be.
I did a lot of quilting between Thanksgiving and a week before Christmas but I haven't touched anything since then :( because of the amount of paperwork I needed to enter for my job. Holidays is our busiest time, people seam to need the psychiatrist more during the holidays than at any other time of the year. I'm almost caught up with work so I should be back to quilting soon or I'm going to need an appointment with my own boss

When I looked at "a mother's life" -- it's beautiful in the fabrics you used --I immediately thought of Christmas presents and what a pretty alternative it would be in a light colored Christmas background fabric with big red bows. Must be the time of year.
