    I love adding the square between the strips. It gives the 'jelly roll' or lasagna quilt a different look.

    Hi All, There is a tutorial here for this quilt created by Fromthenestdesigns. If you read thru the threads you'll find all thr info you need for the quilt. I love the crinkly, puckered look of washed quilts so I'm not concerned about shrinking. I starch my fabric -Before- cutting...and most important not to stretch the fabric when pressing. Anne

    Both of them are very beautiful! Like your idea of cutting your own strips! Much cheaper!
