They're wonderful! I got my pattern a few days ago but probably won't get to make any this year. Trying to finish up some Christmas gifts before surgery. I will go back and read all the posts in this thread but, if you haven't already answered this, how long did it take for each one and were you real experienced at PP when you started (you darn sure are now, lol).

This was a big discussion a couple of weeks ago. The pattern was printed in an old McCall's quilt mag and isn't available except through them. They will send you one and you send back $4 for it. I don't have the email address for Tricia (the gal you request it from) but will try to find it for you.

I've seen a couple of these trees lately on the board and knew they were paper pieced, just didn't know how. Thanks for sharing the pattern. I tried enlarging it to get the measurements but can't get it clear enough. Thought this would be a great maiden voyage into paper piecing! lol. Anyhow, I love your choice of the blue fabric and think it will add a lot of color and holiday cheer wherever you decide to put it. Thanks for sharing.

Yours are so pretty and love the blue fabric. I've had to put mine on hold for now, busy with stockings.

    Nikki,
You need to got to mccallsquilting.com and find their email address, send a request for the pattern for Jeweled Forest. You can make it attn. Tricia as she is the one who helped us with this. If you want to see the original discussion, put Jeweled Forest in the search box up at the top of this site and there will be several threads relating to it. The original thread, with gorgeous trees by Delta, is called Christmas of Color (or something like that).

Thank you ssooooo much for posting Jewel trees! This is quite beautiful and I would love to see finished quilt. My motive here is to collect all kinds of different trees to make a sort-of scrappy quilt. I just added yours to the collection. Its fabulous!
