    Gorgeous quilt, beautiful fabrics. The only suggestion that I have is what others have already suggested - - don't let the quilting over shadow the piecing, pattern and fabrics.

    Vicki, I love your quilt and the only other suggestion I can suggest is checking out Karen McTavish's work online. She has a technique called McTavishing might be incorperated with SID of the block pattern. McTavishing is simple, uncomplicated designs that would add some softness to all the angles of SID. You could use this method whether hand or machine quilting. Just my 25 cents worth... :roll:
