    Thanks, Lisanne!! We do have some extremely talented and some nationally known quilters in our guild. One is Nancy Rink, who has a new pattern in the new McCall's Quilting magazine and has won ribbons at national shows, and another won best traditional quilt at Road to California last year, and Marilyn J. Smith won best of show at Road to California with Grape Harvest. So, we have some stiff competition!! It's a little intimidating for a relative newbie (almost 4 years quilting) like me!! Thanks for your compliments....it means a lot!!

    I would be very disappointed if you hadn't won. Aren't you glad that judge recoginized the quality of your work. It is stunning.

    Thank you!! I did work very hard on it, but I was certainly grateful for the blue ribbon.
