Default My KS "Walkabout" batik quilt finally done

I bought this fabric 3 years ago when our BR was buttercream yellow. Then we sold out and are now full timers in a big 5th wheel with a kind of taupe colored walls. I finally finished this Saturday, and have it on my QS bed. I made it KS so it'd have plenty of drape and also so I could fold it up over my pillows, not needing shams that way. In a 5th wheel I just didn't want to have extra "stuff" needing to be moved all the time. I quilted it on my 13" Bailey. It's far from perfect, but I'm happy with it. I took a class on Craftsy by Angela Walters about fmq feathers first. The pattern is Walkabout by Grizzly Gulch Gallery.

Dumb question. What is a 5th wheel? Wonderful quilt.

It's an RV. Ours is 37' with 5 slidesouts. We can pull it behind our truck. We will be staying put for a few years so my husband gave me 2/3 of his shed for my sewing. Finished it off with heat & AC so I'm truly a happy camper.😉

Very nice, I sure can't see how you can do all of that in a 5th wheel!
