    very lovely quilt, i understand the pile, i have a tub of them that i wont try yet. mostly wallhangings and some quilts too

    love it.

    I just purchased "Foolproof Machine Quilting" by Mary Mashuta. That might be a good way to start if free motion quilting is scaring you. She uses her walking foot and doesn't drop the feed dogs. I got my copy through Amazon.
