quiltmouse: LOL! I've made almost all of them into sixteen patches, so I'll have to keep a running total.

I love your quilt!!! I have scads of that rose fabric that I didn't know what I was going to do with all of it. It looks great as a backing! Thanks for showing me the right road!

Absolutely beautiful, I love all the colors and pattern. Good for you to finish it up.

Quilters must think alike. I am working on this very same quilt using 3 1/2" squares of florals. A quilting buddy challenged us to use up some fabric that had been "aging" in our fabric collection and as I had a huge heavy bin of florals, this pattern was perfect. I must be looking at this pattern just a little differently, as I have been stitching mine into gigantic 24 1/2" blocks so that you see the sixteen patch inside the diamond shape. Sixteen blocks will finish at 96 1/2" square and then I intend to put on a border to make it a King size. My version takes 576 floral squares and ninety six 6 1/2" squares to make the diamond shape. I cut 50 strips of florals for my own quilt and have given several 50 strip bundles to quilting friends and I can still barely get the lid on my floral bin. I "see" several more floral quilts in my future.

Sounds beautiful--I love florals, and I think this pattern would show them off well. I look forward to seeing your quilt.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone.

Beautiful! I'm about halfway finished with a queensize of this pattern. I love how you quilted it, am going to copy. It really sets off the quilt so nicely.
