Default My Last UFO! Arkansas Crossroads

I finished my goal of completing UFOs with this final one. I'm going to start with a clean slate after Christmas--YAY!

The squares in the sixteen patches were given to me by another member of this board--thank you again, I've had so much fun with them, and you will see more of them--the box had over 2700 3 1/2" squares inside!

I don't know how to classify the backing--retro? modern?--but, it reminded me of the roses painted red by the playing cards in Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, so I loved it (I am a fan, and a student, of most anything Alice!).

I decided to make this after seeing the beautiful quilts that #1piecemaker's husband makes--mine is made with a different size squares, but his quilts were my inspiration!

Merry Christmas to all--try to have a restful, peaceful holiday season.

Love the quilt and the quilting. I'll keep that in mind since I'm planning on doing that design.

Your quiilt is beautiful! I really like the pattern and the background. It might be a scrap quilt but it doesn't seem like a scrappy quilt if you get what I am trying to say. I really really like this. And the back is a great fit for the front. Can you tell me where you found the pattern? I have a bunch of scraps and this would be fun to make I think.

I just kind of figured out the pattern with the help of a friend. It is a traditional block--one pattern is here:

I'm sure there are others out there, too.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone.
