    Default My lastest Quilt

Here is my lastest quilt. The pattern is "Costa MAya" by Kaye Wood. It can be downloaded from the web -cost $9.00. The fabric is from several lines. The pattern is really easy. All you do is make courthouse steps around a center block, cut according to direction, sew back to gether and Voila! it is done (almost that easy). the pattern went together like a dream! I think this is the prettiest quilt I have made. I did the quilting- SID and FMQ in the larger block areas using matching thread. I put 10" of borders on each side so quilt measures 92 x92 instead if 72 x72. Thanks for looking!!!!! (Looks like there is a glare from the flash in the center top- should not be there)

Beautiful quilt and it doesn't look easy. Glad it was and you have such a pretty project finished.
