    I think you should do a piano key border using all the scrape material you used in the quilt.

    Looks good...seeing as how your sashing is wide, are you considering a scrappy border with a thin red binding? Love the colours - keep us posted on what you decide.

    Piano keyboard same width as sashing with red binding came flashing through my mind :D. Beautiful quilt no matter how you finish it.

    Morning, love anything that reduces stash and this is looking mighty nice. One time when I had extra wide sashing, I appliqued something at each intersection within body of quilt. It looked so nice that I am doing the same with a bug quilt for our grandson. He is 3 and can follow a bug a block! Anyway, my bug jars are set within black background and then I am appliquing huge bugs into the intersections of block. Anxious to see it done. Good luck with finishing yours. Looking nice. Congrats.

    Extra thought, with all that beautiful red, maybe a huge pattern of roses appliqued would bring a nice affect, but then again, it all depends upon who gets the quilt.
