    Default My Latest Finish

One of my best friends from college just bought a new house and I made her this quilt. She does not live near me so to make sure the quilt matched her new bedroom; I asked her to mail me some paint chips. I did the piecing and it was quilted by a long armer in my area.

She seems very happy with the result and set me this photo last night:

Great job and what a wonderful idea - much better than getting back blue & brown since there are so many shades of blue and brown. I am putting that up in my data bank and hope that I can retrieve it when needed. Such a simple idea but i never would have thought of it - at least not until I got to the fabric store and went What Shade of Blue - is teal blue?

Oh I love the colors the two of you decided on. The pattern is perfect to show off the piecing too. What a sweetie you are to make this for her.

So pretty. Good job on the quilting too. I would love for a friend to gift that to me.

Beautiful! I haven't seen that pattern. The white really sets off the other colors. I can see why your friend loved it!
