    WOW... when I saw the picture my mouth fell open! ABSOLUTELY GORGOUS!

    You did a fabulous job!

    I think white will be perfect. I would choose it anyway. I agree with your idea also to quilting it. I know you will enjoy the heck out of it when it is completed!

    that is a stunning quilt!!! I would machine quilt it diagonally from the center out like a star burst..

    Your title is quite appropriate ("my pride and joy"). Yes, I would certainly be proud. What a beautiful quilt, I haven't even attempted anything bigger than a lap size or crib size quilt (yet!). STUNNING!
