    if feasible you could take to a long arm quilter and she could baste it for you,of course for a fee,but you would have to check for prices.

    Whoooooh! That's some gorgeous quilt. You are looking for a big place to lay it out. Your public library probably has a conference room with a big table or tables that could be moved together to accommodate your quilt. Call them and ask if you can come and use it. Your tax dollars are paying for the library so they are usually really happy to let people use the facilities if they are available. Good luck!

    The sewing machine repair shop here also has quilt classes and a fabric selection. They recently added a long arm machine that can be rented by the day. If you have something like that in Amarillo, you won't need to baste it!

    That is one gorgeous quilt!
